TOTASAK AVAILABLE TO RETAILERS AS POINT OF SALE AID TO OVERBURDENED SHOPPERS

BENSENVILLE, Ill, September 21, 2000 – A clever device designed to ease the burden of shoppers carrying multiple bags is now available from manufacturer GAIM Engineering to mass and specialty retailers at special volume discounts.

The product, TotASak, and its lighter-weight sister product, HandLr, is ergonomically designed to fit in the palm of the hand, with an open-ended hook beneath the handle that loops through openings in bags, handles and carrying straps.

Made from durable, 100% recycled plastic, it enables the user to carry up to 1,400 pounds with ease.

“When consumers see the TotASak, they go wild,” says Skip Glatt, President of GAIM. “People in urban areas who have to hand-carry grocery bags, for example, are big fans. We receive many orders through our consumer-oriented website (www.totasak.com), but many queries on which stores carry the product. We’re finding pent-up demand for it as a point-of-sale item.”
